Progress report?
3 months in fitness. 5 pounds lighter.
BE THE PERSON YOU STRIVE TO BE.
My loving fiance’s progress.
I’M HERE TO PROVE THAT IT CAN BE DONE!!
For the majority of my life I believed that:
- I was born with big bones
- I had poor genetics
- I was “naturally” curvy
- I had a slow metabolism
- If I wanted to lose weight I would have to go on a diet
- Once I lost the weight I could go back to my old ways
- Going on a diet every new year would become the norm
- I just liked eating food more than others
- Eating less food would result in losing more weight
- Eating less often would result in losing more weight
- I wasn’t born with the natural energy to workout like others
- I wasn’t born with the motivation to workout like others
- I couldn’t change the size of my legs because I thought they were all “muscle”
- I would never be able to have a beach body
- I would never feel comfortable naked let alone in a bikini
- I felt pretty but I didn’t think I could feel “sexy”
The list goes on and on. I proved to myself that these were all lies, ignorance, denial, and misconceptions. Anything is possible.

We all fall down. But the thing that separates the dedicated from the rest is that they get back on their feet. Don’t give up. Get up and be amazing.
IIFYM stands for If It Fits Your Macros. The means basically, eat right, but don’t get all caught up in the whole ‘clean vs dirty’ food debate that seems to still go on. If you want to eat whole grain bread, oats, brown rice, etc. etc. Then do it. If you want to eat white bread, white rice, and pop tarts, as long as it fits in with your other macronutrients and your goals in terms of caloric intake then it isn’t going to make much of a difference in the long run. It all comes down to personal preference.
So, basically don’t get into the whole “If I have ice cream I’m going to get fat” or, “I’ll never have pizza again” mentality. If you want it, you can have it, just make sure it fits your macros.
This is not a diet. This is a way of life.
